COBCLM set out to renew its image, raise awareness, and inspire a new generation to see the true value of being part of a community of biologists.

Clint's problem

The College of Biologists of Castilla-La Mancha (COBCLM) faced a significant challenge: most professionals were unaware of the benefits of membership, and many did not fully understand the organization’s role. Additionally, its communication needed a refresh to align with a more modern, dynamic, and appealing image that would resonate with younger generations.

Solution

We developed a strategic communication campaign to highlight the benefits of being part of COBCLM, using a fresh, relevant, and engaging approach. The challenge was to connect with a diverse audience spanning multiple age groups, which led us to adopt humor and transparency as a universal language to build an authentic connection with each segment.

Design idea

We identified widespread dissatisfaction within the profession and seized the opportunity to directly address conversations that were already taking place among professionals in the field.

The campaign “You Complain For a Reason” was designed to openly highlight the challenges faced by different branches of biology, without filters. At the same time, we aimed to offer a tangible solution: the peace of mind provided by the College to help address these very challenges.

This concept was brought to life through a series of visually striking posters, split in half to represent the “before and after” of being a member, showcasing the concrete benefits of joining COBCLM.

Clint's results

The campaign successfully redefined COBCLM’s image, making it modern, appealing, and relevant. Membership applications increased thanks to the campaign’s resonance with professionals across different age groups, while the College strengthened its position as a trusted and proactive ally in the field of biology.
